Dhvani Toprani and Kate Moss presented on the importance of integrating technology at the annual Educause ELI conference in San Diego, California.

The virtual conference was attended by nearly 450 people from 200 institutions pondered what forward-looking engaged citizenship will look like in different disciplines.

More than 30 original projects were on display in Moseley Center on Wednesday, April 27 for the annual Maker Takeover.

Today we feature a story on an Elon University Assistant Professor of Economics, Dr. Brooks Depro, who sought to answer how to make coursework more relevant to his students. The work he has done was recently published in an article title: “Making introductory economics more relevant: Using personalized connections to introduce environmental economics”. More than 35 projects from 2022 Kickbox recipients and MakerHub consultants will be on display in Moseley Center for Maker Takeover on Wednesday, April 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The deadline to apply for the annual program is Dec. 2.

A gathering of friends in McKinnon Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 6, provided members of the university community an opportunity to pay tribute about Smith, assistant director of teaching and learning technologies, who passed away on Monday.

E-Connect, a collaborative effort between the School of Health Sciences, Information Technology, and Teaching and Learning Technologies, will put an Apple iPad in the hands of every nursing student this fall.

Nearly 600 participants from more than 150 institutions registered for the conference hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) and held Thursday, June 10.
