Blending math, biology, computer science and engineering, four undergraduates and their mentor, Hwayeon Ryu, are developing a mathematical model in a three-year, $300,000 project funded by the National Science Foundation. In the process, they’re finding their future paths.

The online study aims to understand new fathers' beliefs about infant motor development and the impact on infants’ motor behaviors. Eligible participants are first-time fathers of infants aged 1-10 months living anywhere in the USA.

Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler, Eric Hall, Amy Allocco and Jen Hamel, members of a collaborative research group facilitated by the Center for Research on Global Engagement (CRGE), recently published an open-access article in the journal New Directions in Teaching and Learning.
