Ashley Joines L’24 received the David Gergen Award for Leadership & Professionalism at Commencement exercises for the Class of 2024 where she was lauded for doing “everything in her power to help all those around her.”

Elon University conferred nearly 100 degrees from the School of Health Sciences on Dec. 13 in Alumni Gym.

The Hon. Carrie F. Ricci, General Counsel of the United States Army, delivered a Commencement address to the Elon University School of Law Class of 2024 in which she emphasized the importance of personal relationships, working hard, and kindness.

Registration is now open for a December 5, 2024, program in downtown Greensboro that features keynote remarks by a prominent spiritual leader and a panel conversation exploring the intersection of the rule of law and acts of religious faith.

Carrie F. Ricci, who previously served for two decades in uniform and today provides legal counsel to the Secretary of the Army, will address graduates in a December ceremony on the main campus of Elon University.

Elizabeth “Liz” Kwon L’23 will be the first alumna of an Elon graduate program to serve a two-year term on the governing board that advances the university’s mission by overseeing its health, strategic direction, educational policy, and finances and operations.

The university was recognized for standing out within a pool of nearly 600 schools for its sustainability-related policies, practices and programs.

The 2025 Joseph Bologne International Piano Competition will be Feb. 1 and is open to high school pianists in grades 10-12. Registration runs through Dec. 10.

The university will be collecting relief items at Saturday's home football game in Rhodes Stadium and volleyball match in Schar Center.
