Kanopy is a video streaming service that you have access to through your affiliation with Elon University. You can sign-up through Belk Library’s databases, after which you will be able to go directly through Kanopy. This service provides access to a wide range of documentaries and films, many of which illuminate perspectives and insights from marginalized and underrepresented positionalities and communities. Using Kanopy is a great way to engage in entertainment that can also begin or deepen your understanding of different cultures and/or identities. Various departments and offices around campus also host screenings of films on Kanopy in Turner Theatre, including holding Q&A’s and events with people involved in the making of a film.
