Dear Elon families,

On behalf of the Parents Council, we would like to extend a warm “Elon Welcome” to all new families! We wanted to take a moment and share news about the Elon and how you can get engaged with the University..

Elon is a unique student-centered learning environment where students, faculty and staff work together to further students’ education, personal development and success. Parents and families play a vital role in this special learning community and, likewise, in Elon’s drive for excellence. Recognizing this, the Parents Council engages with the Office of Parent Engagement and senior administrators to represent the parent body to the university on a range of important issues. Please feel free to contact us or any member of the council through the Office of Parent Engagement at 336-278-7470 or parentengagement@elon.edu.

We encourage parents and families to stay connected with the university and informed about campus happenings. Follow Elon University and Elon Parents on social media. All parents who have shared their email address with Elon will receive This Week @ Elon, a weekly email packed with the latest news from campus. In addition, parents will also receive the Phoenix Families e-newsletter full of helpful information all Elon families need to know. To ensure receipt of This Week @ Elon and the Phoenix Families e-newsletter, share your preferred email address with the Office of Parent Engagement at parentengagement@elon.edu or 336-278-7470.

Finally, please consider investing in the future of Elon and its students by supporting the Parents & Grandparents Fund, or a designation of importance to you or your student. Your annual gift to Elon empowers Elon students to build brighter futures for themselves and a better world for us all.

We wish your students a most successful year at Elon and your families a fulfilling and lifelong relationship with this remarkable University.  Please reach out to us should you have any questions.

Warm regards,

Amy and Sean Maguire P’25
