How do you IMMERSE yourself into Community-Based Learning?

In this phase, students actively immerse themselves in community activities and begin to reflect more deeply on how their actions may benefit individuals or communities. You can begin to develop a broader awareness that your attitudes and beliefs are different from those of other cultures and communities. This phase allows you to connect knowledge from your own academic discipline to work with communities. In the process, you can gain a deeper understanding of your core personal values, appreciate the importance of diverse beliefs, and understand the need for justice and equity for all members of a community.
