Additional Resources
A number of campus departments are ready and willing to provide you with support as you make course adjustments.
Belk Library
Belk Library offers an array of resources to assist with online instruction as outlined in the off-campus access and resources LibGuide. Talk to your library liaison who can, by appointment, provide virtual research and library instructional support. You may also explore additional library research guides, which provide an overview of resources (mostly online) for each disciplinary area.
Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (CATL)
Schedule a consultation with a Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) faculty member to discuss ideas or suggestions for shifting activities, assignments, experiential learning or other aspects of your course online. Email CATL or call 336-278-5100 to set up an in-person (when possible), phone or virtual Zoom conversation. In your request, please indicate several dates and times that work for you, along with your preferred format.
Center for Writing Excellence
Consult the Center for Writing Excellence to ask questions or brainstorm ideas related to using writing when teaching remotely. Email Paula Rosinski and Julia Bleakney to schedule a meeting.
Disabilities Resources
During times of disruption, Elon remains committed to the principle of equal opportunity, including efforts to accommodate students with disabilities as they face the challenges of university life. Visit the Disabilities Resources website for more information and contact the office at 336-278-6568 if you have questions.
Teaching & Learning Technologies
In addition to in-person and virtual training sessions, Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) offers in-person (when possible) and virtual consultations to assist faculty with remote learning. TLT staff are available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Request a consultation and be sure to indicate several dates and times that work for you, in addition to your preferred format. For virtual meetings, please indicate your preferred virtual conferencing tool.
Technology Service Desk
Technology Service Desk staff are available to answer basic questions about Moodle, Zoom, and other instructional technologies by phone or online chat. If your questions require more in-depth knowledge or expertise, TLT staff may step in to assist you further. Call 336-278-5200 for assistance or visit the IT Self-Service Portal to communicate via live chat.
