Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley, who served as the 29th U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2019 and as the 116th governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017, will be speaking during Fall Convocation on Friday, Sept. 27, at 3:30 p.m. in Schar Center.

Coverage guidelines

Media will be allowed to cover the entirety of Haley’s remarks for print and broadcast. Photographers are allowed to shoot non-flash still photos only during the first three minutes of her remarks and during the final three minutes of her time on stage.

Due to a tight schedule, Haley will not have time to speak with the media before or after the event in Schar Center.

Media Credentials

Media outlets desiring to cover Haley’s remarks during Fall Convocation are required to complete the media credentials request form below by the end of the day on Thursday, Sept. 19. Media credentials can be picked up on the day of the event outside the main entrance to Schar Center. Media are asked to pick up credentials and be in place by 3 p.m. — 30 minutes before the start of the event.
