MENTAL HEALTH SUMMIT
Wednesday September 25, 2019 5:30 – 7:30pm, McKinnon Hall
Thursday September 26, 2019 8:00am – 4:00pm, Lakeside Meeting Rooms
This two-day event will mark the launch of ACT-BELONG-COMMIT, a campus-wide initiative aimed at inspiring individuals to be active, resilient, and mentally healthy citizens engaged in meaningful and purposeful commitments within their communities and extending into the global context. Speakers will include Rob Donovan the founder of this framework, international leaders who have implemented this framework into their communities, positive mental health and wellness researchers and clinicians, as well as presentations from Elon faculty, staff, students and administrators on how this framework supports the mission of their specific programs. We encourage all members of the Elon University Community as well as the broader Alamance County community to attend these events. This event will mark the start of ongoing and sustainable opportunities to engage in the work of promoting a mentally healthy campus and inspiring a culture of health and wellness for our community.
This is a co-sponsored event from the many areas committed to wellness, well-being and a mentally healthy campus. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
